#1 Put Your Mail on Hold

Avoid a pile up of mail by contacting your post office before leaving for vacation. Simply fill out an online form to temporarily put your mail on hold. You can also see if one of your friends is able to pick it up for you that way you can ensure that your mail is safe.

#2 Arrange Pet Care

If you can’t bring your dog or cat with you on vacation, plan for pet care well in advance. Research boarding facilities close to Siena at Tuscany or have a trusted friend or family member watch after your pets. Make a detailed list of when your pet eats, instructions for medications, and any other pertinent information about the care of your pets.

#3 Adjust the Thermostat

Save some money on electricity by adjusting the thermostat and unplugging electronics. Setting the thermostat a little higher than usual means that the air conditioner won’t be on all of the time while no one is home to enjoy it. #4 Clean Up
